Academics

What academic resources are available to my student?

Bemidji State University’s Advising Success Center helps students become competent and confident independent learners. Students can schedule a time with a tutor at Advising Success Center (203 Decker Hall) or a writing consultant at the Writing Resource Center (Hagg-Sauer or Clark Library) easily using our online appointment scheduler. The Advising Success Center also has resources for students with disabilities and helps first-year students transition to college academics through the University 101 course.

Does my student need permission to drop a class?

Students do not need permission from their academic advisor to drop a class. Students need to log-in to eServices and look for the modify schedule feature to make any changes.
