If you have been admitted to Bemidji State University as an Extended Learning student, please register using eServices, by logging in to MyBSU and selecting the “eServices” tile.
Follow this guide to help you register each semester.
Consult with your faculty advisor before registration each semester. To find their contact information, use the BSU Directory here.
Select courses by using your degree audit (DAR or DARS report), the online catalog for your major, and the class schedule.
Not yet admitted?
If you are not seeking a degree from BSU, but you still want to register, you will need to be admitted as a special (or non-degree seeking) student.
Visiting students from other Minnesota State schools
If you are a current student at another Minnesota State school, you may be eligible to register for certain online courses through BSU. First, attempt to register for the BSU class(es) using your own school’s eServices account. If you run into any errors that can’t be solved on your end, please contact University Advising for help in getting registered.
On-campus students taking online courses
If you are admitted to Bemidji State University as an on-campus student and wish to register for online courses, you may need permission from your instructor and the department to register. Review the message in the class schedule for more information. If required, supply an Online Course Request form to the Office of Records.
For senior citizens
Minnesota Law 197B, Chapter 19, establishes the right of Minnesota residents reaching the age of 62 to enroll in courses at the cost of $20 per credit hour, plus applicable fees. Or a senior may audit courses with no tuition charge (some fees may apply), but only when space is available. To take advantage of this option, complete and submit the Senior Citizen Application form to the BSU Records office.
