Following the Wilderness Medical Associates Wilderness First Responder curriculum, this course is ideally suited to professionals or other individuals who may find themselves as the primary medical caregivers for a long time. The program¿s goal is to help learners develop the critical thinking skills necessary to develop appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients being managed in remote, low-resource areas. Students who finish this course and complete the WFR tests will receive the Wildness Medical Associates Wilderness First Responder Certificate. Prerequisite(s): GEOG 5700.
