ENGL 3590 Race, Power, and Justice in Global Literatures (3 credits)

Through critical study of global literatures in multiple genres and from multiple periods, the course analyzes the ways economic, social, and political inequities have been constructed, sustained, and challenged within global literatures. Students engage fiction and non-fiction texts that promote social justice through exploration of the structural inequalities facing marginalized groups. Core Curriculum Goal Areas 6 &7B.
