Career & Technical Education Core cert
Bemidji State University’s Career and Technical Education Core Skills program offers practical experience focusing on foundational skills, processes, and instructional design in the area of Career and Technical Education (CTE). It includes courses on CTE history, Perkins V requirements, demographic analysis, effective teaching methods, safety planning, resource management, and strategic planning. Teacher candidates complete the program by defending a portfolio assessing their prior experience, coursework, and skills relevant to acquiring CTE as an additional educational licensure.
