REL 2000 Religion in the Modern World (3 credits)
An examination of the impact and direction of religion in modern society, particularly as it relates to other fields of study and social institutions such as art, music, literature, social problems, education, politics, and science, as expressed through a topical theme or development, with readings from contemporary writers and media. Prerequisite: Sophomore status, or consent of instructor. Might not be offered every year. Liberal Education Goal Areas 6 & 8
