II SECOND LANGUAGE

The normal expectation is that the student will complete the equivalent of 14 semester credits in a single second language. Students may petition, based on their regional option (see below), to complete this requirement using two languages, e.g., someone in the Asian option, having only 8 credits of Chinese available, could complete the first or second year of some other language.
