American Indian Resource Center
Centrally located between three of Minnesota’s largest reservations, the AIRC is a place to come together and learn. If you are an American Indian student, you can turn to us for support. If you are a community member, whether nearby or across the globe, you’re invited to contact us, come visit and participate in the cultural interaction and enrichment opportunities offered here. Dining Services
With a variety of convenient locations across campus, from Lakeside Food Court and Wally’s to the Java City coffee kiosk and Einstein Bros. Bagels, BSU Dining Services provides everything you need to stay healthy and energized. Learn more about your options for student meal plans and the added flexibility that comes with Beaver Bucks. All locations accept cash, Beaver Bucks, VISA and Master Card purchases.
Financial Aid Office
There are many ways to get financial assistance for college, from grants and employment to a wide variety of loans and scholarships. BSU provides a comprehensive array of aid options in addition to helping students and their families navigate the process of investigating and obtaining assistance from federal, state and private sources. Our office staff are here to ensure you achieve your degree without spending a lot of time worrying about money. We also do not want you to graduate with too much debt, so we will do our best to help you make the most responsible decisions possible. Financial Wellness Peer Mentor Contact Information – Student-to-student financial education and counseling on budgeting, savings, credit cards, credit scores & credit report, debt, banking and loans.
Gillett Wellness Center
To keep you active, the Wellness Center offers free indoor and outdoor fitness classes for students. Learn to paddle board or practice yoga and keep yourself both fit and centered. We offer new classes each month, so you always have fresh options.
Housing and Residential Life
We are more than a home. We are a community. Open your door to a floor filled with friends. Take a five-minute walk and you are sitting in class. Why Live on Campus? Above all, it is the convenience. You have a study partner whenever you need one, and you never have to worry about an empty refrigerator. There is always something to do, and it is all so close to you. Life on the Bemidji State campus is community oriented from day one. International Program Center
We provide guidance and support for students who come to us from across the globe as well as for BSU students wishing to study abroad.
Intramural Sports
The Intramural program is a fun way for you to get involved on campus and meet new people! The Department of Campus Recreation offers both competitive and recreation leagues in a wide variety of sports for both men and women throughout the academic school year.
Outdoor Program Center
The nationally recognized Outdoor Program Center provides you with the opportunity to be a part of the outside world around you. Imagine climbing to the top of a mountain or kayaking through a canyon, ice fishing in the middle of winter or taking a sailboat out on Lake Bemidji. The OPC makes it possible with trips to destinations throughout the United States, a climb on our state of the art indoor climbing wall, or with equipment rentals if you are going on your own.
Student Center for Health & Counseling
Our comprehensive and integrated health care facility includes both health and counseling services. We provide students with access to primary health care, ongoing health maintenance, information about health care and disease prevention, individualized personal counseling, group therapy and a host of outreach health education services.
Sustainability Office
Bemidji State University’s mission for sustainability is to promote awareness and instill passion for the Earth through research, projects and leadership. Here at BSU, we have a unique understanding of and commitment to sustainability in which we emphasize personal wellness along with social equity, economic feasibility and environmental responsibility. Our perspective has been greatly influenced by the Ojibwe culture and we work with the recognition that we are a part of the earth and are dependent on it for our survival.
