On Feb. 14, the Bemidji State University Bemidji Concert Series will welcome the Bach Society of Minnesota & Cantus Vocal Ensemble for a performance titled “Legends and Lies”, continuing the university’s 2021-2022 season.

The traveling performance is a collaboration between the Bach Society of Minnesota, the oldest Bach Society in the United States, and Cantus, one of the nation’s few full-time vocal ensembles. “Legends and Lies” explores the life of Till Eulenspiegel, a German folklore prankster, as he ventures crosses Europe during the 30 Years’ War.

The concert is open free to the public and will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Bemidji’s First Lutheran Church. Pre-registration required.
