Al-Odeh Develops COVID-19 Teaching Resource for Colleagues Across Minnesota State

Bemidji State University’s Dr. Mahmoud Al-Odeh, associate professor of technology, art & design, recently received innovation funding from the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities to develop a multimedia teaching resource during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joining faculty from across the system, Al-Odeh applied for and received Innovating through COVID-19 funds for his work on “Using D2L Brightspace HTML Templates,” a project that overviews developing hypertext markup language on the Brightspace Desire2Learn platform.

HTML is the standard language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browser and knowing this skill can help faculty across the system make their courses accessible and engaging for students.
