On Oct. 17, the Bemidji State University Bemidji Concert Series will welcome The Chinook Winds quintet for a virtual recital, kicking off the 2020-2021 season.
The resident wind quintet of the Great Falls Symphony in Great Falls, Montana, The Chinook Winds’ performance repertoire includes classic literature, works featuring local composers and unique arrangements of popular songs.
The concert is open free to the public and will begin virtually at 7:30 p.m. on Facebook and the Department of Music’s website.
About Bemidji Concert Series
Bemidji State’s Department of Music began the Bemidji Concert Series in 2001 to reinforce Bemidji’s reputation as a cultural center in northern Minnesota and to provide the Bemidji region with local access to world-class musical performances. The Bemidji Concert Series’ 19th season begins in October and typically includes four concerts.
