While Bemidji State’s annual move-in day was less energetic than usual, with a reduced on-campus population as part of the university’s COVID-19 response, staff and students enthusiastically helped new students settle into their rooms in Oak and Tamarack halls on Thursday, Aug. 20.
Following social distancing and mask protocols, Housing and Residential Life staff helped students register and answered questions while BSU student-athletes were on hand to help students move in. Move-In Day officially kicked off the university’s Orientation & Welcome Week, which will include a number of virtual opportunities for students.
Based on the latest guidance from Sanford Health and public health officials, housing at BSU for the fall 2020 semester will be limited to 500 students who have on-campus academic or athletic experiences.
