NorthStar Visiting Scholar & Guest Instructor Creates Virtual Art Exhibit

NorthStar Visiting Scholar Xiaoming “Sean“ Huang is hosting a virtual exhibit in Bemidji State University’s Talley Gallery.

Huang’s exhibit “Until We Meet Again” tracks his experiences at BSU and is meant to remind viewers to look forward with optimism amidst the challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic and feelings of separation.

Huang joins BSU as a guest instructor of interior design from the Nanning College for Vocational Technology in Nanning, China. As a designer and educator, Huang has seven years of experience teaching principles of interior design, drawing and perspective, 3D design software, interior design color and lighting and more. He earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental art design and has a master’s degree in design with an emphasis in southwestern ethnical architectural and landscape design.
