Dr. Jim Barta, dean of the College of Arts, Education and Humanities, hosted a Native American flute circle at Bemidji State University on April 16 as part of the Bemidji Adventures in Lifelong Learning program.
In the fall of 2018, Barta participated in a hands-on Native American flute class at BSU where participants, both students and community members, learned to create and play a traditional Native American flute.
