Bemidji State University’s Class of 2022 — the university’s 100th class of incoming students — gathered Aug. 24 in the BSU Gymnasium for the annual new student Convocation ceremony.

The Convocation candle-lighting ceremony, which represents the passing of knowledge from faculty to students, marks the beginning of a student’s academic journey as a member of the BSU community.
