Nolan Brey, a business administration major from St. Cloud, Minn., is the vice president of Bemidji State University’s Business Club.
Brey joined the club after visiting with members at the Beaver Organization Bash his first year at BSU. Each year he became more involved and decided to take on a leadership role his senior year.
“Business Club has been super amazing in helping me develop myself professionally,” he said. “I’ve made a ton of great connections and learned so much. It’s been super rewarding.”
Business Club meetings feature guest speakers who give presentations and network with club members.
“These are awesome opportunities,” Brey said. “People make great connections at these events and a couple have even led to internships and jobs.”
Business Club will host a speaker from Federated Insurance in Owatonna, Minn., at its Nov. 8 meeting and will be taking interested students to the Government and Nonprofit Career Fair in Minneapolis in late October.
Students can learn more about Business Club on BeaverLink and Facebook or by attending a club event and sharing an email address.
