Dozens of leading art and media students from 20 regional high schools received special invitations to Bemidji State University’s inaugural Media, Art and Design Day on Feb. 22.
Students attend workshops focusing on art, graphic design, media and exhibit design. The workshops included a demonstration of virtual reality technology, an introduction to video game design, laser etching, how to design a magazine cover and how to host a radio show. Workshops were presented on total of 13 topics, and each workshop was repeated for different groups of students three times throughout the day.
