Anderson-Michael-300x300 Dr. Michael F. Anderson joined the Bemidji State and Northwest Technical College campus communities as interim provost and vice president for academic and student affairs on July 5.
Caravella-Tracy-300x300 Tracy Caravella has joined the Department of Human Performance, Sport and Health as an assistant professor. Before joining the faculty at BSU, she spent 12 years at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Hofstad-Lisa-300x300 After nine years at BSU Alumni & Foundation in major gifts and annual funds roles, Lisa Hofstad has been promoted and will serve as the Foundation’s Chief Administrative Officer. In this role Lisa will help manage internal operations and serve as one of the Foundation’s primary liaisons to campus.
Dwight-Jilek-300x300 When Dr. Dwight Jilek joins the BSU campus community as director of choral music this fall, he will be called upon to continue a legacy of vocal music education that began in 1937 when Carl O. Thompson was hired to teach vocal music and music theory and history.
Kovarik-Angie-300x300 Angie Kovarik has joined the Department of Business Administration as an assistant professor. She comes to BSU after spending nearly five years as a Clinical Informatics Operations Analyst/IT Applications at Sanford Health in Bemidji.
Li-Cliff-300x300 Zhe “Cliff” Li has joined the Department of Business Administration as an assistant professor. He recently graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln after spending five years as a graduate assistant in its Finance Department.
Marietti-Christina-300x300 Christina Marietti has joined the Department of Professional Education as an adjunct instructor.
Mastin Mike 2011 City of Bemidji Chief of Police Mike Mastin has joined the Department of Criminal Justice as an adjunct instructor.
Patrias-Marla-300x300 After spending nearly two decades with BSU Alumni & Foundation in a variety of roles, Marla Patrias will succeed Rob Bollinger as the organization’s executive director.
Tower-Chris-300x300 Chris Tower has accepted a full-time faculty position in the Department of Professional Education as an assistant professor and director of clinical experiences, effective Aug. 16. Last year, he was with the department as an adjunct instructor and teacher candidate supervisor.
Weber-Miriam-300x300 Miriam Webber has joined the Department of Music as an assistant professor. She comes to Bemidji from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where she was an adjunct instructor of music.
