BEMIDJI — Bemidji MusiCamp is back for another summer at BSU.
The middle school jazz ensemble was working on the tunes “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele, “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO and “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green on their first day of practice Monday in Bangsberg Hall.
Koree Johnson plays “Rolling in the Deep” by Adele on her saxophone during the middle school jazz ensemble at Bemidji MusiCamp.
The camp is open to students who have completed their first year of band to those students who have finished their senior year. The camp, which was established in 1948, is one of the longest running music camps in the United States, according to the camp’s website. The camp was re-established several years ago after a brief hiatus.
Bemidji MusiCamp runs through Saturday and is staffed by regional music educators.
