BSU’s Department of Housing and Residence Life along with Peterson Developers hosted an open house for University Heights on Thursday.
University Heights, located near 18th Street and Bemidji Avenue North, will offer a new apartment-style living option for BSU students that will be open to students this fall.
The 26,444 square-foot apartment building is a four-story structure, designed by MJ Architectural and includes 16 apartments. Three and four-bedroom apartments will be available and can house a total of 56 students. The apartment building is not directly located on BSU’s campus but will be operated by university house and staffed by residential life members.
The overall development plan of the area is a multi-phase project that will eventually include apartment buildings and townhomes.
