Cory Renbarger, assistant professor of music, performed the title role in Gianni Schicchi with the Fargo-Moorhead Opera, April 8 and 10.

Sage Davis joined the Office of Admissions as an admissions representative, effective May 9.

• Nadine Gessner joined BSU Alumni & Foundation as an accounting officer, effective May 2.

• Dr. Keith Gora, assistant professor of psychology, has been appointed assistant director of the Center for Professional Development. He will work with Dr. Debbie Guelda and the CPD Council next year to support the work of that group as they provide ongoing and expanded professional opportunities for faculty and staff.

• Dr. Bonnie Higgins, chair of the Department of Technology, Art and Design, has been appointed interim dean of the College of Business, Technology and Communication. Her appointment begins July 1. Higgins will succeed Dr. Shawn Strong, who departs after three years as dean to accept the presidency at State Technical College in Missouri.

Ryan Luce joined Public Safety as a campus security officer, effective May 7.

• Paul Muller has accepted BSU’s director of admissions position. He will begin on May 16 and will have a temporary office in the International Program Center, Deputy Hall 103.

Chelsey Nesset joined the Office of Admissions as an admissions representative, effective April 25.

• Cory Renbarger, assistant professor of music, performed the title role in Gianni Schicchi with the Fargo-Moorhead Opera on April 8 and 10.

Dr. Young Seob Son, assistant professor of business administration, has earned Quality Matters certification for MBA 6110, Quality Matters is a faculty-centered peer review process designed to certify the quality of online and blended-delivery courses.
