Bill Blackwell was hired to take over as executive director of the American Indian Resource Center in June of this year.
He is following Dr. Anton Treuer, who has held the position since November of 2012, and began his duties on July 1st.
Blackwell has some ambitious plans for the Bemidji State facility, including a physical expansion of the building and more growth for a small Native American student population.
