MALMO, Sweden — Bemidji State junior forward Stephanie Anderson scored her first international point as a member of the US National Women’s hockey team Saturday.

The teams went into the second intermission tied at 5-5 but Brianna Decker scored the game-winner for the Americans at 11:42. Kendall Coyne added some insurance later for the final 7-5 score.
Team USA was 3-for-5 on the power play and outshot Canada 36-27. Fourteen different players scored points for the Americans, who went undefeated in the tournament and outscored their opponents 37-11 over the five games.
