Midwinter Interlude faculty and staff art show open

Bemidji State University’s faculty and staff are displaying their artistic talents at the fifth annual Midwinter Interlude art show, open now through March 14 in the university’s Ramsey Gallery.

The Ramsey Gallery is located in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex. The barrier-free gallery is open to the public free of charge.

An open house reception will be held Thursday, Feb. 27, from 3-6 p.m. in the Ramsey Gallery lobby; refreshments will be served, there will be live music throughout the evening, and many of the participating artists will be available for a meet-and-greet.

The Midwinter Interlude has grown from 17 exhibitors during the inaugural show to nearly 30. Works on display have included photography, stained glass, sculpture, jewelry, quilting, knitting, drawing and painting, fishing tackle, and other forms of arts and crafts.
