Bemidji State’s Imagine Tomorrow campaign is building a brighter future for students and Bemidji State by raising $35 million in gifts, pledges and planned gifts over the next five years. Of the $35 million total, $20 million will go toward scholarships – a tripling of the current scholarship level that will provide affordable access to an excellent education for more students; $8 million will go toward academic excellence – allowing the university to attract and keep the highest quality faculty in the academic programs most needed to serve our students and Northern Minnesota; and $7 million will go for annual support – to be used for other specific needs, including scholarships, technology, academic programs and learning resources.
Bemidji State University has undertaken this effort to preserve and improve educational opportunities for northern Minnesota students despite reduced state financial support. The university is committed to building on its 94-year tradition of excellence in academics, the arts and athletics.
