• Dr. Mahmoud Al-Odeh, assistant professor of technology, art and design, has been named president of the Association of Technology Management and Applied Engineering‘s Distance Learning Division. Al-Odeh will serve as president until 2015. The organization announced Al-Odeh’s appointment in the January edition of its newsletter, IT Insider.
• Dr. Anton Treuer, executive director of the American Indian Resource Center, and Anna Gibbs, Red Lake tribal elder, have recorded several public service announcements for the Affordable Care Act in the Ojibwe language.
