Sustainable Tuesdays, a weekly presentation on topics related to environmental and sustainability issues presented by Bemidji State University’s Sustainability Office, will offer a rain barrel construction workshop rescheduled from last month to kick off its August lineup.
Sustainable Tuesdays are typically held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Rail River Folk School, located at 303 Railroad St. SW in Bemidji. They are open free to the public unless otherwise noted.
August 6: Rescheduled Rain Barrel Workshop
Last month’s rain barrel workshop was rescheduled for Aug. 6. Join Andreas Nordrum and learn how to capture the power of rain! In this hands-on workshop participants will learn how to build a rain barrel for their garden or yard. All barrels are already reserved, but anyone is welcome to watch and learn the process.
