Bemidji State University student Lauren Skarloken will be performing her senior recital on April 19.
Skarloken’s recital begins at 7:30 p.m. in Bemidji State’s Thompson Recital Hall in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex; admission is free.
Originally from Crosby-Ironton, Minn., Skarloken came to BSU in 2009 and will be graduating this spring with a bachelor of arts in music with an emphasis in vocal performance. She will also be graduating with a minor in psychology.
Skarloken will be performing classical works by composers such as Gabriel Faure, Robert Schumann and Henry Purcell, accompanied by local pianist Wayne Hoff.
