The Department of Music at Bemidji State University presents a student recital from senior Ron Lovelace on Nov. 11 and a performance by the Bemidji Trombones on Nov. 15.
Ron Lovelace Recital
Ron Lovelace, a senior and music major at Bemidji State University, will perform a vocal recital at the university’s Thompson Recital Hall located in the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.
Lovelace, from St. Paul Park, Minn., will perform on Sunday, November 11 at 3p.m. as part of his music degree. He sings baritone, and his performance will include seven pieces in French, German, Italian and English. These pieces are from a variety of composers, including Franz Schubert, Johann-Paul Martini, Leo Delibes, Gerald Finzi, Vincenzo Bellini and Ruggiero Leoncavallo.
This event is open to the public free of charge.
Bemidji Trombones Concert
The Bemidji Trombones will hold their fall concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Thompson Recital Hall of Bemidji State’s Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.
Bemidji Trombones features a 12-trombone ensemble comprised of Bemidji State alumni, current students and members of the community.
