Thirteen Bemidji State University students are working in BSU’s Math Help Center during the 2012-13 school year.
The Math Help Center is a free tutoring center located in Bemidji State’s Hagg Sauer Hall. Student workers there are dedicated to helping other students build skills in mathematics.
In addition to tutoring, Math Help Center students also work in math and computer science workrooms and labs, assist professors and help organize the annual Northern Minnesota Mathematics Contest.
Courses covered in tutoring sessions include Intermediate Algebra through Calculus II, as well as Applied Statistics.
Math Help Center hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Fridays.
