Exhibitor Media Group and the Bemidji State University Department of Technology, Art and Design have named Red Lake Falls senior Samantha Thibert as the 2012 recipient of the Exhibitor Media Group Student Achievement Award.

The award recipient is selected by the faculty in BSU’s art and design program and is awarded by Exhibitor Media Group.

The official announcement of the award from Exhibitor said, “Samantha’s academic performance and leadership in the classroom and in the Exhibit Club at BSU set her apart from others in the program.”

As the recipient of the award, Samantha receives a Gold Passport to EXHIBITOR2013, the World Conference and Exhibition on Trade Show and Corporate Event Marketing, held in Las Vegas, a one-year subscription to EXHIBITOR magazine, and will have her name engraved on a plaque displayed in BSU’s Bridgeman Hall. 

Thibert is a senior and will graduate in May 2013 with a a double-major in design technology, with specializations in exhibit and digital design, and in marketing communication.
