BEMIDJI, Minn. (March 13, 2012) — Bemidji State University student Meg Augeson, in collaboration with the Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center, is hosting the University’s first Splash ‘N’ Dash Aquathlon on Sunday, March 18.
The competition will take place from 12-6 p.m. The price is $15 for students and $25 for community members.
The Aquathlon is a two-part competition that includes a 15-minute swim followed by a 20-minute run. The competition is open to individuals and two-person teams. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Saint Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Hospital.
Pre-registration for the event is required. The dates and times for pre-registration are 7-9 p.m. March 15, 1-3 p.m. March 16, and 10-12 p.m. March 17.
