BEMIDJI, Minn. (August 8, 2009) — The Bemidji State University Center for Reseach and Innovation has announced its lineup of course offerings for August, 2009.
“The Basics of a New Position: Job Analysis to Hiring”
This course is designed to help analyze the needs of a business when creating a new position or filling an existing position. Participants in the course will develop a job description, look for ways to improve a job application and create an ad to announce the position. The course will also provide opportunities to walk through the job interview process, create job-appropriate interview questions and help develop strategies to evaluate applicants. The course will also cover a variety of other topics related to recruitment and hiring.
