BEMIDJI, Minn. (July 24, 2009) — The Minnesota Small Business Development Center, housed in the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation, will hold a course on business marketing in a down economy in August and October.
Marketing for Success in a Tough Economy
Proven marketing tips and strategies for reaching customers in difficult economic times. Participants will learn how to be creative, be more efficient and do more with fewer resources to recruit new customers and expand relationships with an existing customer base.
Location: Crookston, Minn. (University of Minnesota, Crookston); Tuesday, Aug. 4. noon – 4 p.m.
Location: Bemidji, Minn. (Center for Research and Innovation); Thursday, Oct. 1. 6-9 p.m.
Cost: $35. Includes lunch/dinner.
The course is sponsored by the Minnesota Small Business Development Center and the Northwest Minnesota Foundation, funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Association, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and regional support partners.
