BEMIDJI, Minn. — The social work program at Bemidji State University will co-sponsor a community forum entitled “Child Care, Children’s Health Coverage and Wage Issues” on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Bemidji Boys and Girls Club at 1600 Minnesota Ave. in Bemidji, Minn.
The discussion forum, which is free and open to all who are interested in the subject, is presented by the Children’s Defense Fund of Minnesota along with the social work program, Child Care WORKS, the JOBS NOW Coalition, Northwest Minnesota Foundation, Bemidji Central Labor Body, Mahube Community Council and the Northwest Indian Opportunities Industrialization Center.
