Outdoor Programming Center offers four sailing clinics in July

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University’s Outdoor Program Center (OPC) will offer free introductory sailing clinics on Lake Bemidji on Wednesday, July 9, Saturday, July 12, Saturday, July 19 and Wednesday, July 23.

Designed for beginners, the clinics last several hours and cover basic knots, sailboat rigging and handling. Students will get a chance to sail.

The July 9 and July 23 sessions will be held from 4-6 p.m., while the July 12 and July 19 sessions will be held from noon to 3 p.m.

Attendees should bring a swimsuit and towel and prepare to get wet. Each clinic can take up to 12 students, and pre-registration is required.
