BEMIDJI, Minn. – Kevin Calkins will present his senior exhibition in the Ramsey Gallery of the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex on the campus of Bemidji State University from May 2-16. The exhibition is in partial fulfilment of the requirements for a bachelor of arts degree from BSU’s Department of Visual Arts.

Calkins’ exhibition will reflect his areas of emphasis in jewelry, metals and ceramics, but also will feature fabrics, drawing and leatherwork.

A reception with the artist will be held Friday, May 9, from 4-7 p.m. at the gallery.

Calkins is a senior majoring in art education from Forest Lake, Minn.

Located on the first floor of Bangsberg Hall on the campus of Bemidji State University, the Ramsey Gallery is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The gallery is open at no charge to the public.
