BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University will host a spring Choral Chamber Ensemble Concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, featuring Bemidji State’s three choral chamber ensembles: the Chamber Singers, the men’s Musikanten and the women’s Damestimmen.
The concert, which is offered free of charge, will be held in the Thompson Recital Hall of the Bangsberg Fine Arts Complex.
Members of these auditioned ensembles are also members of the Bemidji Choir. Their concert program will include a wide variety of choral literature, from renaissance to jazz.
The ensembles
• The Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Brad Logan, is a 16-voice group recognizable as the Madrigal Dinner Royal Court.
• Musikanten is a 23-voice men’s group directed by seniors Luke Holt of Litchfield, Minn., and Chris Ramage of Rochester, Minn.
• Damestimmen is a nine-voice women’s group directed by senior Danielle Stadick of Beulah, N.D.
