BEMIDJI, Minn. – A four-session course entitled Fundraising Campaign Training will be offered March 5, 12, 19 and 26 by the Bemidji State University Center for Research and Innovation.

This training is designed for all individuals involved in fund raising and will focus on basic elements of fund raising and how to put these elements together in an annual fund raising calendar. Communications and marketing pieces will also be discussed.
Teaching the course is Deb McGregor-Pfleger, a private consultant possessing many years of experience working with non-profit organizations as well as for-profit entities.

All sessions are scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon and will be held at the CRI, located at 3801 Bemidji Avenue North.

A discount will be offered to companies sending two people to the course, with registration for two costing $350. Early registration is encouraged, and the deadline for registration is February 27.

“I am most excited about the fact that participants receive a one-one individual session following the training,” said McGregor-Pfleger. “This provides an opportunity to make sure each individual’s needs are met and that there is a plan in place for implementing all that has been learned.

McGregor-Pfleger graduated from Concordia College with a B.A. in organizational Communications and French. She is currently finishing her graduate degree at North Dakota State University with an M.A. in Speech Communications and an emphasis in Organizational Culture and Structure. Her thesis project involves life coaching.
