Raised in Texas, I started my college career at a large university in my hometown. After several semesters I decided it was not a good fit for me and I began researching other options. After visiting Bemidji several times I decided BSU was the place for me! I transferred to BSU in the fall of 2001, finding success through BSU's small class sizes and caring instructors. I completed my bachelor's and master’s degrees in education through BSU. After teaching middle school computer/technology courses for several years in Colorado I returned to BSU in the fall of 2013.
I find great joy in helping students reach their goal of becoming a teacher!
