ISEF Paperwork
All students wishing to be eligible for advancing to the state competition must fill-out ISEF paperwork prior to starting their projects. Each project needs a complete forms 1, 1A, 1B, the abstract, and research plan. Additional forms may be needed depending on the experimental plan. Team projects only need one set of forms, with the exception of for 1B (each student on the team should fill out form 1B). See the resources below for help.

What to Expect at the Regional Science Fair
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, February 23, 2024, for the regional science fair on the Bemidji State University Beaux Arts Ballroom. Each project will have a three foot by two foot table to set up their presentation. Presentations can be in the form of a trifold board or a presentation board with a quad chart. Detail of both are below. Any project competing at the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair will need to bring a presentation board with quad chart. Live project judging will take place in the morning along with science demonstrations by BSU students. Lunch will be on your own. You are welcome to eat at our Lakeside Food Court in the Lower Union. In the afternoon, there will be a keynote speaker and awards ceremony.
