TAD students earn university credits doing paid internships in their area of emphasis/specialization.
Why Internships are Valuable
Internships provide an opportunity for professional practice under the guidance of a mentor. Through the interaction and integration of academic studies and occupational experiences, interns will be able to enhance their academic knowledge, professional preparation and personal growth.
Students should meet with their advisors to determine the number of credits suggested/required and discuss options for appropriate internship experience that relates to the student’s program of study.
