About Jared

Hey! My name is Jared Barney. I am from Chisholm, MN, and I transferred to BSU after receiving an AA (Associate of Arts) Degree at Hibbing Community College. I will be graduating from Bemidji State University this spring with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Exhibit and Graphic Design. I am a creator, outdoorsman, hobby photographer + filmmaker, woodworker and a maker enthusiast.

Through my education at BSU, I have grown to love modeling and designing with 3D software. I plan to move to the upstate of South Carolina following graduation to work with Grander Construction while simultaneously building a personal brand — establishing a multi-media business in 3D visual design and photography as well as filmmaking.

Presentation Description

For this Senior Portfolio, I will be presenting three of my top projects which correspond with both Exhibit and Graphic Design. The projects include an exhibit and experience for Gregory Packs, a 3D marketing project for New Tradition Homes and a logo and collateral for Grander Construction. Through the presentation of these projects, you will gain further insight into who I am as a maker and how my education at BSU has, and will, influence my journey and career path as a maker.
