Manufacturing Operations Development Program with Polaris

Polaris lobby space in Roseau, MNMOD-P is designed to provide high school graduates with the opportunity to intern with Polaris, a Fortune 500 Company, while earning college credits at Bemidji State University. Interns will gain valuable career experience and critical manufacturing skills from industry leading professionals.

The Manufacturing Operations Development Program or MOD-P provides fifteen recent high school graduates the opportunity to work full time at Polaris Industries in Roseau, MN while going to college part-time for free through Bemidji State University.  Polaris will provide free housing in Roseau MN and you will attend college for free online through Bemidji State University.  You’ll be making money, learning valuable career skills and going to college.

To be part of the MOD-P program, your first step is to apply with Polaris.  The application deadline for Fall semester of 2024 is August 5th.  To learn more about the MOD-P program or application process, email Shannon Flynn at shannon.flynn@polaris.com. Once accepted into the MOD-P program with Polaris, you will apply to BSU.  Your internship at Polaris starts August 19th and classes with BSU start August 26th.

  • You will have the opportunity to continue your employment at Polaris after graduating from the MOD-P program, and Polaris will provide you additional $5,000 per year to continue your education.
