Other common pre-law majors, besides political science, include history, English, philosophy, psychology and economics. See this spreadsheet if you want hard data on which majors have the most applicants to law schools and which have the most success as applicants.
You should choose a major in which you will have the most success. You want to be able to demonstrate a high degree of academic ability so choose a major that engages you and allows you to utilize your strengths. Avoid a major that you think is the “right” major for law school but doesn’t interest you. That will only lead to your disillusion and reflect in your performance. Grade point average is a key component to law school admission along with the subject matter of your major.
