Student Requirements for Participation In CWRU/BSU 3+3 Agreement
With careful planning, students can complete three years at Bemidji State University and transfer the first year of law school at Case Western Reserve School of Law (CWRUSL) back to BSU to earn a bachelor’s degree. The following requirements must be met prior to entering law school.
- Meet with Dr. Donnay and your academic advisor early in your academic career at BSU to become informed about the program
- Select a major program that has a 3+3 pre law curriculum
- Have a minimum of 92 credits applicable to BSU degree
- Satisfy BSU residency requirements
- Complete BSU Liberal Education Requirements
- Meet BSU Major Requirements (including complementary courses)*
- Apply to CWRU during fall or third year of attendance at BSU
- Take the LSAT during fall or third year of attendance at BSU
- Be in the top 33% of all students at BSU in cumulative GPA at end of their 4th semester at BSU
- Achieve an LSAT score of 150 or higher
- Maintain high personal and academic integrity, including online
*At the discretion of the BSU College and major department, certain courses from the first year of law school may apply towards these requirements. Students must consult with their Dr. Donnay and their academic adviser to determine how these will be satisfied.
Completion of the above requirements does not guarantee admission to law school. Students will complete the same admission process as other law school applicants.
