Get on the “Fast Track” to Becoming a Licensed Teacher!

The Bemidji State University Master of Teaching (MAT) FasTrack licensure program is an online graduate degree and teacher licensure program designed for students who hold undergraduate or graduate degrees in an area other than education. If you already hold a teaching license, FasTrack is not for you.

The MAT FasTrack coursework requires virtual meetings at the start and end of each semester with opportunities to attend other sessions with your professors and fellow students throughout each semester. The MAT FasTrack provides a flexible, supportive online learning experience.

Students go through the program as a cohort. We start a cohort of teacher candidates each fall and spring semester. You will be part of a supportive network of students, faculty, staff and K-12 teacher mentors.

Apply early and quickly complete our virtual no-cost “MAT FasTrack Student Orientation”, in which you’ll create a plan to complete the program and earn your full Minnesota teaching license.
