Sustainability Student Opportunities at BSU
Bemidji State’s Niizhoo-Gwayakochigewin program is dedicated to assisting students in scholarship help, searching for internships and much more.
Bemidji State Scholarships
Bemidji State University offers scholarships for which you are considered automatically when you are admitted to the university. It’s that easy! We’ll determine if you meet the criteria outlined for an automatic merit scholarship.
Niizhoo-gwayakochigewin Internships
We will be accepting applications for summer internship positions for any student enrolled at Bemidji State University, Leech Lake Tribal College, Red Lake Nation College, White Earth Tribal and Community College, Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College or Itasca Community College.
Bemidji’s Rail River Folk School, in collaboration with the Indigenous Environmental Network and the Region 2 Arts Council, sponsored a community birch-bark canoe construction workshop on the shore of Bemidji’s Lake Irving. Summer interns from Bemidji State University’s Niizhoo-gwayakochigewin program were among more than 50 community members who participated.
