Apply For Business Administration Scholarships
Bemidji State’s business administration department offers $20,000 of scholarships annually. These scholarships are available to all business degree seekers.
To be eligible for all scholarships at Bemidji State, fill out the Foundation Scholarship Application before February 1.
Available Scholarships
Baer Family/Security Bank USA Scholarship
Criteria: For students majoring in Business Administration with a preference for students from Northern Minnesota.
Charles Aldrich Business Scholarship
Criteria: Sophomore, Junior or Senior student majoring in Business Administration with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
Donald J. Zuehlke Scholarship
Criteria: For juniors and seniors majoring in Business Administration with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Dorthy Veranth Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Juniors and seniors majoring in Business Administration. Must have a minimum of a 3,25 GPA.
Federated Insurance Business Scholarship
Criteria: Junior and senior students interested in Business, Finance, Risk Management or Insurance. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. Preference to students with demonstrated leadership and extracurricular activities.
Federated Insurance Information Services Academic Achievement Scholarship
Criteria: For students with a declared major in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Math. Applicants must be sophomores, juniors or seniors with at least one semester remaining during the scholarship year. CS or CS majors must have a minimum of a 2.8 GPA and a minimum of a 3.0 GPA for Math majors. Applicants must have completed at least one of the following:
- Introduction to Computer Science II
- Problem Solving and Computation
- Management Information Systems
- Business Application Development
Applicants must have the authorization to work in the United States permanently. Evidence of community service is required, and preference is given to students with demonstrated leadership and extracurricular activities.
Lawrance “Hollie” Higgens Scholarship
Criteria: For Bemidji High School seniors. A minimum GPA of 3.25 if student already completed college courses at BSU while at BHS. Must be planning to attend Bemidji State University to major in Business Administration.
Leonard Dickinson Scholarship
Criteria: Juniors and seniors in Business administration with a minimum of a 3.25 GPA. For students interested in Minnesota’s natural resourced. Preference given to northern Minnesota resident.
Michael and Tracy Roberge Scholarships
Criteria: For students with a declared major in Business Administration, demonstrated financial need.
Mike McKinley Business Marketing Scholarship
Criteria: Junior or senior majoring in Business Administration with emphasis in Marketing.
Pinnacle Scholarship
Criteria: Junior or senior majoring in Business Administration.
Rich and Joyce Siegert Scholarship
Criteria: Junior or senior majoring in Business Administration or Music in good academic standing.
Richard “Dick” Haberer Scholarship
Criteria: Full time junior or senior majoring in business-related field.
Ron Batchelder Scholarship
Criteria: Must be juniors and seniors in Business, Economics or Nursing with a minimum 3.0 GPA.Demonstrated financial need.
Ruth Brune Mangelsdorf Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Must be a junior or senior with a minimum of a 3.25 GPA. Preference given to a member of a college national honor society. Preference given to students demonstrating interests in Humanities or English Literature.
Sorensen Business Scholarship
Criteria: Award for undergraduate student from Minnesota accredited high school. Junior or senior majoring in Business administration with a minimum 2.50 GPA. Preference given to student active in campus leadership roles and campus activities.
Wayne and Beverly Thorson Business Scholarship
Criteria: Junior or senior majoring in Business Administration. Preference given to student from Minnesota.
Welle Family/First National Bank Scholarship
Criteria: For students majoring in Business Administration or incoming freshmen. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference to U.S. citizens from a community within a 300-mile radius of Bemidji. Preference to students who display achievement, community involvement and leadership.
