With a focus on business principles, strategic analysis and leadership development, Bemidji State’s online MBA is ideal for recent college graduates or working professionals seeking to advance in their current field or change careers.
An MBA from Bemidji State will provide the advanced-level skills and understanding required to function effectively in today’s dynamic, technologically complex and rapidly changing business environment. Successful graduates of the program will be able to apply analytic thinking methods to business scenarios using multidisciplinary concepts and tools, to communicate effectively in a variety of business environments, to bring required global perspectives to bear when seeking solutions to problems and to clearly define the role of corporate social responsibility in seeking these solutions.
The 12-course, 30-credit program is delivered entirely online and taught by expert full-time BSU faculty. The program can be completed as quickly as one year, or at a slower pace to suit an individual student’s needs or preference.
Bemidji State’s newly streamlined program is designed to keep pace with current trends in flexible, online MBA programs, and to allow for new delivery models such as an accelerated 4+1 program that allows students enrolled in BSU’s business and accounting programs to begin working on an MBA as undergraduates. The 4+1 program allows students to complete both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in just five years, reducing both the financial and time commitments required to earn the degrees.

“The 4 + 1 program option will provide undergraduate students with a competitive edge in the job market, and the flexible program will provide them with job security,” said Dr. Young Seob Son, assistant professor of business administration and director of the MBA program. “They can earn their degrees without quitting their jobs.”
